Moving in!!!

We are moving in this week! We think that we are going to move in on Wednesday, but if that is to fail, we are still moving in this week! I just finished painting my room and am going to lay my own carpet today. Can't wait to move!!!!!!!!!!!

The Wedding

Yesterday was Katie Kreighbaum and Jonathan Sperry's wedding. It was so much fun. I am kind of tired though. The reception was awesome! Abigail danced thriller, Jeff through some Michael Jackson moves out there, Aaron was break dancing. It was awesome to watch them. The dance floor was so packed with people. We had the reception at Parrot Bay. The dance floor was kind of small, so when we did the chicken dance, it was hard to walk in a circle. It was a blast though I was sad that I didn't get to go to a neighborhood party.

We got the keys!

Yesterday we got the keys for our new house. We went there to paint and we are going there again tomorrow. I am excited that we are getting closer to moving in!

Cell Phone

I'm getting a cell phone! My parents thought it would be a good idea to get me one because of where we are moving to. We are going o be living in the country, so since I am going to be home alone alot more often they wanted to be able to contact me if they needed to tell me something.I am pretty excited about it. I am just so siked about moving! We are moving in about two weeks. Be praying that we can close in time and that we can get it fixed up in time to move in on schedule.

school

Thursday is school. Usually I am not so excited about school, but this year is going to be good. I will be in junior high so I won't have to be with the little kids anymore. YEAH! I'm also considered an older kid now so I can do things that the other kids can't. I think I am definately going to enjoy this year.

Moll'y birthday

Today is Molly's birthday party. Tomorrow is her actual birthday, but I decided to post today. We are having about five girls over. It may be kind of hectic, but it should be fun for her. I can't wait until I can lay my head on my pillow and fall asleep after a restless day with all the excitement of moving.

summer poem

SUMMER
Summer is like a deep breath.
Summer is like laying down and taking a nap.......face it, I've got nothing! School is about to start though. So that means the deep breath is over:(. I'm kind of excited about school, but I will miss sleeping in! But I am extra excited about moving! Ya, I said it, MOVING! After eight years of not having my own room I am going to get one! Ahhhh. My deep breath has come back.

Kirksville

Last week I went to Kirksville. It was great fellowship time with the youth up there and from other places. I am not sure if I will go next year or not but I'm hoping that I will be able to. Anyone that has not been should give it a try, you will have a blast along with having to use elbow grease.

Tennis

Today I played tennis. It was pretty fun, but I didn't learn anything I didn't already know. I have to go again tomorrow. After I went to tennis camp I went swimming with my mom and my siblings and some of their friends. But school is drawing near and I won't get to swim anymore. sad. Hoping tomorrow will go better than today's tennis.

Mankato

I just got back from Mankato, Minnesota. I had a lot of fun. My family and I hadn't been there for three years so we decided it was time to go back. While we were there we went to Mineopa falls but it was more like Mineopa trickle when we went. I made a bet with Caleb Bedore for a dollar saying that if the Capitol of Texas was Austin, I won. If it was Houston, he won. I won, but he never paid me. At least it was only for a dollar. As for the rest of the time we spent it mostly with the Forbes, the Bedore's, and the Hernandes. We had a really good time. That is the only vacation that we will go on this year. Except that my mom and I will be going to Kirksville on Sunday for the teachers conference.

Busy

This was a very busy week. Monday I had a sleepover woth Abigail and Dolphin, Tuesday I had a huge sleepover with about 16 girls from the age of 4 to 10. And today I went to Nopolis with two friends and Linda. Then I went to Payless and got some white dress shoes. I had a pretty busy week but it is not over and next week I will be going to Mankota, Minnesota. That will be fun, but I will miss everybody. And tomrrow is car care. Can't wait!

fireworks

Yesterday we had our church fireworks display. I was pretty awesome. The best was big gun. My family and I had our little display yesterday also. Now I am just waiting for a friend to come over. We got our zipline put in so she is probably going to try it out. Can't wait!!!!!!!!

Boys

Today was a very roudy day with a bunch of 3-4 year olds. We had kids pooping their underwear, breaking drums, crying, eating peanut-butter with ketchup, etc. Now I'm chilln' at home getting ready to go to bed.

Reading

Today I have just been hanging around reading all day. I got this book from the library, and I thought it was going to be okay, but I started reading it and the whole book talked about nothing but boys and girls . I told my mom what it was about and she said that I could read another book from home. So I took her advice and read a book that we already owned. I like the book that I am reading. It is called homesick. I advise young people, (and older), to watch what you are reading. Even if you are getting it from a library that you think is friendly, read the back and see what it is like.

Aunt Beth

Today my aunt is leaving. She was hear for quite some time. She got hear on Saturday and she is now leaving:(. We did a lot though. Let's see, on everyday that she was here we played lots of games. On Tuesday my aunt and I went and played tennis. Wednesday we just hung out until she went on her longest dinner night of the week. Then yesterday we had a really fun day. We started out with Dad, Sammy and I went to softball practice and it rained, but the exciting part was that we got to still play in the rain. Then when we got back we went to the library with my aunt, then we went to Family Video and rented two movies. Then we went to Salvation Army and I got a bright green shirt, then we went to Apple Bee's and I got really yummy meal. I had three cheese chicken parmesean penne pasta. Then we went to Wal Mart and got movie candy, then we went home and watched Space Buddies, then we watched Another Cinderella Story, then we went to bed and now I fust got finished eating lunch with her and we played wne last game of Sorry with her before she left. I have the best aunt in the world.

Tennis

Today I went and played tennis with my aunt. She beat me because I got over-heated. I probably would have won. Tomorrow I am going to go to softball camp. I'm so glad that I am only going until noon. They were going to go until 2 o-clock, but luckly I won't have to endure more heat then I have to. I'm not really looking foward to it, but hopefully my friends will be there. "Can't Wait?"

The Doctors

Today I'm going to the doctor to get my ear treated. My dad thinks it is TMJ inside my ear. Anyway, my brother and sister are going to basketball camp from9-2. So I will be home by myself with my mom. I think I am going to be making cookies, because my mom has been begging for them for a couple of days. Today my friends are getting back from Colorado. It will be nice to talk to them. Can't wait to see you guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Father's Day

Today is Father's Day. I had to work in nursery. A kid named Ethan is the wild one in the group. He decided that it would be fun if he would head-but me. He got a running start and plowed right into me. He hit my head really hard and gave me a headache. Other than that I had a pretty good day. My dad wrote a new song and he played it at church. I also held a little boy that has so many faces that are so cute! His favorite one is O with his mouth. His name is Grant. He is Rana Travis' grandchild. My ear is not much better. Hope it gets there soon. Happy Father's Day everybody!!!!!!

Busy Saturdays

Today was such a busy day. We dropped Sammy and Molly to the Pittsburg Aquatic Center to go swimming for Molly's Orthodontist party. Then we went to drop Molly off at Caitlyn Haden's birthday party, then we went to one of my mom's friends retirement party, then we went home to welcome my Aunt home, and now I'm just hoping to get some rest. Plus the fact that my ear is still hurting. Hope to write about other things to come in the future.

Wax Impactions

I hate wax impactions. Last night I came down with a terrible wax impactions. We were looking for the right medicine in our medicine drawer, we thought we had it, but we were completely out. We had to make an emergence trip to Wal-mart to get some. This morning was like my ear was being blown off. I had to stick a million toothpicks in my ear! I am taking a break right now. I can not wait until it is over with. I had to skip swimming to take care of my "ear problem." I am just hoping it clears up soon.

I learned how to mow the lawn today. I have never had to learn because we have always had guys living with us. I think I did pretty well for my first time. A few weeks ago we were going to a few garage sales, and we went to one that had a pool for 50 dollars, and it just so happened that ours had gotten a bunch of holes in it. My dad asked them what their bottom dollar was, and he ended up only paying $25 dollars for it with chemicals, a patch kit and a few other things for a pool.

We were busy building a garden and a play set a few weeks ago. We finished both of them in a matter of one week. The play set is pretty big, but the garden is about 25 feet long. Well that's pretty much how my summer has been.
