SO!!!!!!! I went to New England for two weeks. It was so much fun! Well, we start off the trip with our van not wanting to start but eventually got that booger figured out. When we got on the road it was about 10 p.m. we traveled for 14 hours and then we made it to Buffalo, New York. We stayed one night in Buffalo so that we could go to Niagra Falls, which was the most powerful thing that I will ever see. Then we drove 7 hours to go to New Britain, Connecticut. There we reconnected with my dad's friend Keith. We stayed with a family there in New Britain, (the Weber's) who were very hospitable. Gary and Kim Weber had two Children Troy and Luke. They were so nice and we made friends with the whole family. That night we went to Keith's church for basically what my church calls prayer that we have on Friday nights. (this was on a Wednesday night.) They seperated the children from adults. the children school age up to fifth grade went to a class and the kids 6th grade to college age went to another class called youth. I felt right at home with the familiar songs and welcoming people. I met many new friends who I miss dearly and I hope to see again in this lifetime. We went back to the Weber's that night and went to bed. We stayed at the Weber's a few more days and one of the nights we played a new game called mofia. We had a great time with the Weber's and then that Friday we went to New York city! That was the most tiring day that we encountered. We first drove to New Haven, CT and went to the train station. We took the train to Grand Central Station and headed into the city. We first went to Time Square. Then we went to all the famous sights such as Empire State building, Statue of Liberty, so on and so on. We, of course, had New York pizza. Suprisingly, we had better pizza in buffalo. It was good though. After the end of the day, we were all very tired. We went back to New Britain and stayed a couple more nights and then we went to church that Sunday and then that night we had a Youth night where my dad and i sang a few songs with the adult band and the youth band. That was definately much fun. That night we went to the next place we were staying. We stayed with the Beene family in Bristol, CT and the next morning we went to Boston, MA. We stayed there for one night and then we went back to CT and stayed there with the Beenes and had just a few more relaxing days before the long drive back home. We had a very entertaining, relationship building time in New England and now we are back home and just catching up on some rest.
